The Man Within
The only difference between men of many is the color of his skin,
and how he represents the integrity of the man within.
Not every man will show the trueness or kindness in his heart,
Honor and compassion instead of pride and selfishness is what sets a man apart.
Not every man sees beauty in the path he has chosen to go,
Instead of rising from the struggle, he lets his heart turn cold.
Not every man sees a challenge and remembers how to crawl,
instead he remembers hardship in being cornered with his back against the wall.
Not every man can face his own reflection and get past his selfish pride,
He thinks this world owes him plenty and that he is just here for the ride.
Not every man can stand up and climb out of his own shame,
instead he's quick to point a finger assuming everyone else should take the blame.
Not every man can take his own burdens and give them all to Him,
Him being our Savior Jesus,
What really seperates us from being a man or being...
